studio for invited guests
Invitation Nijmegen, November 11th, 2010
Dear friends, relationships, art lovers,
it's been a long time since I had my yearly Open Studio for ' any and all '. Reason for this lies in the fact that living and working in my house/Studio on the Graafseweg 183a in Nijmegen slowly but surely have become very intertwined. This year, it still happen, although once again there now is not so much an 'Open Studio ' but rather of a 'Studio for invited guests '.
Time for drawings ...
I have gathered together my drawings of the past 25 years from all places and corners of the Studio and I've tried to organize them as possible. There are many, in various formats. By 6x4cm. to 160x150cm. Black/White graphite lead, colored pencil, soft and oil pastels, Indian ink. Each material shows its specific properties. Autonomous drawings next to illustrations. Drawings that are part of a series in addition to drawings that stand on their own. Drawings that the light almost can't tolerate next to drawings that scream for attention. Drawings on paper and drawings of clay and porcelain.
HerebyI invite you cordially to come to my Studio, there look around noses, to view the work in peace and quiet and a snack and a drink.
The 'Studio for invited gueasts ' will take place from December 11th to 19th 2010, on Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm-5 pm. On the other days you're welcome after by appointment. I appreciate if you let me know in advance when you want to come.
