Bart Drost met Xiaoming
Xia (Benjamin Sea) in 2011 at the construction of his exhibition
'reflections part 1 & 2' at CasualLocations in Xiamen. Back was his assistant. And he showed a lot of interest in Drost's work.
A friendship arose. They agreed to travel one year later from Xiamen to Hubei, the birthplace of Ben.
Impressions of
this journey led to the exhibition 'going home', which was shown in 2012
at the Lang Kah Kee Museum of Arts in Xiamen.
