The board of the Ronald McDonald House in Nijmegen commissioned Bart Drost to provide the new annex to the house with a glass appliqué and two wooden objects. Drost also supplied two windows with sandblasted drawings. The request was to create a partition between the dining-room and the staircase, while a cheerful atmosphere should be predominant. From three designs the board choose the sandblasted windows in combinations with neon.
