As part of the manifestation 'beeldende kunst textiel', Bart Drost made a reprise of his installation 'boom blauw bas' in the Mannenzaal of the St. Pieters and Bloklands Gasthuis in Amersfoort. The Mannenzaal, built in 1531, still has original beds. In 1907, 24 guests lived in the Mannenzaal of the Sint Pieters and Bloklands Gasthuis. Old men who survived multiple cholera epidemics of the last century. Drost lets 100 boys' sports shorts frolic through space on thin threads.
