'villa lila' Nijmegen invited a range of artists to get inspired by the theme 'selfportrait' and to make a new work for the exhibition. In fact - looking back at his works - Bart Drost recognized himself in almost all the paintings he had made at that very moment. A series of 10 pictures was his contribution: 9 time holding a painting in front of his face; the 10th picture shows the artist 'in all his purity'...
